Ready for Departure

As much fun and information gathering as we have had while here at FPO, we are so ready to get going on our journey. We appreciate all the things we have learned, and now are ready to apply all of that knowledge that we have been shoving into our brains (there is no more room!).

We are spending our final full week of orientation with our regional office people this week. We took a tour of the IMB offices and went out to a local South Asian restaurant, food very similar to what we will eat where we are going.

So much information, and not enough time to share it all. The commissioning of this FPO community is next Tuesday. Thank you for your prayers, and I will probably post one last time after this week is over from here at ILC. We head home before that to prepare and pack for our flight overseas. We are still very excited, and can hardly contain ourselves!

Dude, let me be the first (at least here) to wish you and your family the best God has to offer. We are very thankful for you and your family's willingness to go and give of your life to serve our Lord and King. We want you to know that we will keep you in our prayers and hope that you all will keep in touch as time allows. We are very excited for you and know you all will do well, and that God will use you in many wonderful ways. If you we do not get the chance before your flight, have a safe trip and know that you have our prayers and best wishes.

Thanks, Steve, and the same to your family. I pray that seminary is going well for you and I know that God has a place ready for you to serve as well!

I've enjoyed following you through the fpo process. There is so much to assimilate in such a short time, and the learning curve so sharp. But hang in there and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. These final weeks will be tough saying good-byes, but know God is in it all.

I just have to tell you, that I cannot possibly fit anything else into my mind, and now we are listening to Thom W. speak on Universal Disciple. All I can do is take notes. Can anyone say "Information Overload?"

We'll plug you in and let you download it all onto us next week. :)
Can't wait to see you all!
